How the tool handles your images
Online Protractor is designed so measurement work stays inside your browser session. When you upload, paste, or drag an image into the tool, the file is used locally to display the measurement workspace rather than being stored as part of an account system.
What we do not collect intentionally
We do not ask you to create an account to measure an angle, and we do not need your saved readings to run the tool. Your exported PNG, CSV, or JSON files are generated for you to download and manage on your own device.
Technical data that may still exist
Like most websites, normal hosting and delivery layers may record limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, or request timing. That information is used to keep the site available, secure, and operable.
Cookies and browser storage
The site may use basic browser storage or standard cookies when they are needed for essential behavior or performance. We do not use that storage to build a profile of your measurement content.
When you contact us
If you send an email to support, we receive the information you include in that message. We use it only to answer the request, troubleshoot the issue, or follow up on the feedback you shared.
How long information is kept
We do not keep uploaded measurement images as part of a user account history. Support emails and related notes may be retained for a reasonable period when they are needed to handle the conversation or document a resolved issue.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles technical data changes in a meaningful way, this policy will be updated so the explanation stays current and readable.
